Happy St. Patricks Day

Besides the fact that someone put clothes on the naked statue that is in the round-about on music row (just google it)... My St. Patrick's day is going to be pretty uneventful.  Today was my last day dog sitting, and I am excited to get back to my house and be able to take care of some sewing and stuff.  The weather in Nashville has been an odd springy wintery ick.  I have not seen the sun in a few days and its beginning to wear on me.  I am over the in-between and ready to have warmth.

I wanted to do a few macro shots today and get a picture of my nude fishnets and my red lipstick.  Also, my hair looks a little redder than usual.  I guess my Irish came out a little bit.  My hair looks a little funky because I attempted heidi braids but did not have enough bobby pins.  Oh well.

Green dress with pockets: keshi, Pangea
black hooded sweater coat: Delia's
White printed shirt: Zara (borrowed from friend)
Nude Fishnets: Simply Vera for Kohl's
Green pointy toe flats: Unknown, borrowed

I still have my outfit from yesterday to post up, but wanted to at least get the green up today since it fits the occasion.

Also, don't forget to enter my give a way!

Totally Neat - Red Lipstick

As you may have known, I have been on the hunt for red lipstick.  My first red lipstick was too light, my second was too berry...  I finally was ready to just throw in the towel and march straight to the MAC cosmetics store in the Green Hills Mall and have them pick it out.  However, with a new resolve I decided to give Sephora a try.  Now, you may have heard me complain about going into Sephora.  Usually the sales associates on the floor are too busy talking to one another to even look up and notice that someone needs help.  I am also a huge stickler when it comes to customer service considering I used to be in retail.  It was to my pleasant surprise this weekend when I went into Sephora that I got EXCELLENT service.  As I was perusing the red lipsticks, one of the sales associates was helping me.  The shade that I was most drawn to, was out, but she grabbed a darker shade of red and tried it out on me.  The results were stunning!

I was absolutely surprised by the longevity and the vividness of the pigment for this lipstick.  Sephora just released a revamp of their Lip Attitude Chic that has a hydrating formula, and this is called the Rouge Cream Lipstick.  I only had to reapply once during the day (after I ate lunch).  This lipstick didn't leave my lips feeling dry and flakey, but instead left them feeling hydrated and rich with color.

I am so glad I went with the Passion Red instead of the Valentine's Day.  The color was that dark red that I have been looking for, but also not too pink.  Also, for $12 this lipstick was a GREAT investment.

*Totally Neat Tuesdays is when I talk about products, people, things, etc that I like.  These are not sponsored posts at all, I simply just want to share the stuff that I love!
