The Purpose of Winter is Snow

The contrast between the last post I had up and today's post are a constant reminder of why there is a magnificent phenomenon known as snow.  In the winter in Nashville at least, there is no evergreen vegetation; unlike my hometown in East Texas, where the pine trees were a'plenty.  The trees are bare branched and the fields of grass are brown and sickly.  Of course being a southern girl, snow is a miracle.  It was a rare occassion to spend winters sledding, or to even throw a snowball.  I have only built a few snow men in my time.  I know that when I wake up and the ground is covered in this beautiful snow, the day won't be so bad.

  6. My favorite part of this outfit, aside from that super sweet necklace, is the color of your hair on the chambray shirt.

  10. I'm glad to hear you appreciate the snow. It's awesome, I love it! I'm tired of hearing southerners complain about it and how they want their warmer temps...get out there and play in it, it rocks! PS-how do you look so cute on a snow day, I look like a sloppy mess, and I stepped in a giant slush puddle! Yuck!
