Modern Day Scarlet O'Hara
After a second thought, I think this skirt fabric is actually... a curtain. That makes me Scarlet O'Hara. Although, I wish I had a beautiful green and gold velvet ball gown to visit Rhett Butler.
I need my hair trimmed baaaad. I already trimmed my bangs on my own because they were unruly. One day hair... I'll be able to get you a good trim, color touch up, and reshaping. Just keep surviving though.
Writing this the night before and I'm deliriously tired.

I love that skirt. I am still crazy impressed with your sewing skills. Mine are limited to making things inappropriately short.
ReplyDeletei trim my own hair all the time! once or twice a year i got in for a professional touch up, but other than that, it's all me! totally saves $$$ big time.
ReplyDeleteand your skirt looks nothing like a curtain! very impressed you made it!!!
that skirt is fun! :) smiles, gina
ReplyDeleteps-i need a haircut and highlights in the worst way. can you believe it has been since april since i had it done. pure laziness on my part-no other excuse. :(
The skirt is adorable, even if it was a curtain - I would have never guessed. The colors are great for the cooler temps too. - Katy
ReplyDeletePlease keep your hair that color forever. That is all.

ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to attempt trimming my own hair this evening, you've given me courage. I haven't tried it yet on this new 'do of mine (i used to do it all the time just last year)...but its only been 3wks since my salon visit and its already outgrown its style. I need to trim the bangs and cut the rooster cut part a bit...wish me luck.
ReplyDeleteI love the skirt! The pattern is excellent.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is pretty great. I wouldn't have guessed that it was ever anything other than a skirt.
