My darlin' Clementine

Wowza!  I think these pictures look better than the actual outfit looks!  I wore this outfit briefly this morning to go fill out some paperwork and grab some Dunkin' Donuts.  I had a pretty blah weekend.  On Saturday, I helped Sam with his chores, updated his resume, and then we went down to Hillsboro Village to get replace a ring of mine that he lost when we went to Holiday World.  Now, what I am about to say, I never ever thought would come out of my mouth.  After living in East Nashville for only a few months, Hillsboro Village already feel a little foriegn and odd to me!  Which is weird....  That area of town used to be my favorite place to go!  Then Sunday, I moped about the house, did laundry, and did my nails.  Oh, I almost forgot!  Friday, I went out and saw Michael Ian Black!  He was hilarious and definitely perked up my mood, as again on Friday, got myself in a mopey mood.

I am really digging the 1950's vibe this outfit has.  I added the fabric flower pin as a last minute accessory and my hair is styled as such because I haven't washed it since Saturday and I don't plan on washing it until tomorrow morning.  It is a little disgusting at this point but I had one errand to run where I had to look nice, and the rest of the day I am lounging by the pool, going to the grocery store, and getting a spray tan.  I've never had a spray tan before, so I may take before and after photos of my skin.  Here's to hoping I don't look like an oompa loompa.

PS- If it was appropriate to wear red lipstick everyday, I would.  I LOVE the way it looks on me.

  2. I love the pattern mixing between the shirt and the pin! The two patterns work so well together. The skirt is such a fun color, too!

You have the perfect face for red lipstick. Some women can't pull it off (eh...like me) but you look amazing!

  14. This is so ridiculously gorgeous and jaw-dropping, and amazing, and utterly perfect.

Also- there is NOTHING inappropriate about wearing red lipstick everyday. Even if you are just like, walking your cats around the laundromat in your sweat pants.
